Anyone who has ever had a mentor knows how helpful it is to be offered encouragement and advice. Ninth graders Bryce Dion and Max Gomez talked about the importance of mentors while presenting their Senior Story during a recent All School Meeting.

They began by asking the assembled faculty, staff, and students who their mentors have been. Middle School teacher Rob Morrison said Read Albright, long-time Fenn teacher and coach who passed away last summer, had been his, whereas new science teacher Morgan Hall expressed appreciation for the guidance given him by veteran faculty members Peter Bradley and Mike Potsaid.

What would a band be without percussion instruments? Especially the “copper bottom tympani in horse platoons” that “Professor” Harold Hill refers to in the song “Seventy-Six Trombones”?
