Meet Rob Morrison, who teaches English, social studies, and drama, coordinates theatre tech, coaches soccer and tennis, and is an eighth grade advisor. He and Lisa have four children: Sarah (25), Heather (22), Tom (19), and Lucy (14.)
Q: What drew you to Fenn fifteen years ago?
A: I knew Jerry Ward [Fenn’s headmaster] from our St. Sebastian days. And, I live right down the street from Fenn.
Q: What do you enjoy most about teaching at Fenn?
A: My colleagues, the boys, and the values of the School. I also am always proud of my boss.
Q: What do you hope boys will come away with after being in your classes?
A: Confidence in their abilities and curiosity about the subject matter.
Q: What are your passions and interests outside of teaching?
A: Soccer, local history (especially the history of African-Americans in Concord), human rights, and reading.
Q: As a parent of a Fenn alumnus, what do you think the School did for your son?
A: Tom (‘11) had six glorious years at Fenn, during which he blossomed as a learner under the tutelage of Kathy Starensier and so many others. Fenn also encouraged Tom’s development as an artist and that is an important part of his life today.
