SUMMER FENN PROGRAMS 2012
Soccer Camp with Jeffrey Tipping
In this exciting new program, Summer Fenn has teamed up with coaching legend Jeff Tipping, one of the most respected soccer clinicians in the world. Jeff served as the Director of Education and Coaching Development for the NSCAA for eight and a half years and is largely responsible for helping them to expand their educational coaching offerings. He has coached on both a collegiate and national level, serving as an assistant coach for the US Women’s National Soccer Team in 1998, and continues to be involved in the education of players and coaches alike.  Jeff and his experienced coaching staff will teach campers the fundamental skills of the game with an emphasis on learning the techniques correctly. Campers will be led through drills that focus on dribbling, passing, ball control, defending and more, and will apply those skills as they learn to play a variety of different formations throughout the week. Join us for this unique opportunity to learn from a true professional!  Campers entering grades 3 and 4 will be grouped separately from those entering grades 5-7.

Baseball Camp with Ben Smith

Ages 9-12: One-week program (Week 4)
Join Fenn faculty member and coach, Ben Smith, for a full-day of baseball instruction! Campers will spend their mornings learning the fundamental skills of the game as they focus on drills that include hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding. Afternoons will give campers a chance to practice these skills as they jump into game play on Fenn’s beautiful new baseball field. Campers must provide their own glove.

On the trails, our experienced staff will lead participants through all types of carefully selected terrain in the Concord area where they will develop their riding skills and strategies while learning proper trail etiquette and environmental awareness. Off the trails they will be guided in the basics of bicycle safety, care, and maintenance. Campers must provide a bike helmet and a mountain bike in good working order.
