DAY TRIPPER CAMPS

Combining education and adventure, our Day Tripper Camps let campers explore special interests through trips to fun and interesting places. With professional staff providing guidance and supervision, campers experience the environmental, historic, and exciting attractions that New England has to offer. Day Tripper Camps are an excellent way to broaden horizons, make new friends, and learn while having fun.

A fresh packed lunch, transportation and admission to all venues is included in your camper's tuition. All Day Tripper Camps run for a full camp day, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note we are always looking for new places to go and the sample activities offered are subject to change. Prior to camp, you will receive a detailed schedule of each week’s day trips.

Introductory Fishing is a great way for kids to get into fishing, and perfect for boys and girls who want to catch a lot of fish. No prior experience or knowledge is needed. We will visit the Assabet, Concord and Sudbury rivers to explore the ecology and species of these warm water environments. This is a fun opportunity to experience our local watersheds and reel in lots of hard-fighting fish!

All lines, bait, safety equipment and daily snack is provided. Safety is the utmost priority, and Introductory Fishing will be on the banks rather than on a boat.

Led by Fenn alumnus Jeff Trotsky '02. As a professional guide of Titan Guide Services, Jeff grew up fishing in New England and has experience from the tidal flats of the British West Indies to the rivers of Montana and British Columbia. Jeff is CPR and First Aid Certified.

NOTE: This Day Tripper Camp is for experienced anglers only. Campers must have prior experience in both fishing and being on a boat, wading streams, and must own their own waders.

Day 1: Advanced approach to local warm water species.
Day 2: Experience Trout Fishing in Western Mass.
Day 3: Saltwater fishing on Boston Harbor for Striped Bass and Bluefish on Titan Guide Services Charter.

All lines, bait, safety equipment, daily snack and lunch is provided.

Advanced Fishing is led by Fenn staff and alumnus Jeff Trotsky. A native to New England, Jeff has been fishing both the fresh and salt water his entire life. From the tidal flats of the British West Indies, to the rivers of Montana and British Columbia, Jeff has been there and caught that. A former member of the Concord Outfitters team, Jeff has recently partnered with longtime friend Captain Faxon Michaud of Marblehead to launch Titan Guide Service. An Orvis Pro Team business, Titan Guide Service is the product of years of fishing and hours on the water. CPR and first aid certified, safety is the biggest priority for Jeff. Rest assured that your son or daughter will have an awesome and safe time on the water.
