Job Description: Part-time Athletic Trainer

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3-6 pm – Tuesday 12-3pm

This immediate opening is a short term position. 

Dates: December  2017 thru May 2018

Responsibilities: Part-time Athletic Trainer to manage acute and chronic injuries and medical conditions for the school community during the afternoon

  • Provide immediate medical intervention for student athletes during practices and competitions
  • Work closely with Administrator of Health Services and Director of Athletics
  • Provide primary and emergency health care to students, staff and visitors
  • Administer treatment in accordance with school policy/ATC procedures
  • Provide relevant teaching, counseling, and guidance to assist students and parents in assuming responsibility for appropriate health care
  • Confirm student eligibility for sports
  • Interpret student health needs for teachers and other school personnel
  • Maintain clinical documentation on all student services
