 | Thank you for your interest in working at Summer Fenn.
Every year we seek people with diverse skills and experience to meet our staffing needs—including General Camp, Aquatics, Adventure, Circus Arts and other Fine Arts Staff. Please review these staff positions to find the right job for you in 2010.
All staff are required to be a minimum of a graduating high school senior, have solid experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. We are seeking applicants with a willingness to learn and work hard as a team to create a great summer experience for children. A commitment to quality programming, attention to safety and a sense of humor are a must. Being certified by the start of camp in Standard First Aid and CPR, and having a valid driver's license are also required. Lifeguard and WSI training are highly desirable.
To apply, fill out and send in the Staff Application, along with two completed Staff Reference Forms, to Beth Johns-Thomas Summer Fenn Day Camp 516 Monument Street Concord, MA 01742. Please e-mail any questions to bjohnsthomas@fenn.org
Upon receiving your application, we will contact you to arrange a personal interview. Following the interview we will check your references, perform a criminal background check, and speak with you in more detail about the position.
Logistics All staff need to be available for training, which usually runs over the two weeks prior to camp beginning. Training consists of four evening and two full-day sessions. Camp begins June 28, 2010 and runs Monday through Friday until August 20, 2010. We have a late evening of camp closing on August 20th. Staff should plan to be in camp from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. daily.
Benefits We offer a range of great benefits depending on position and experience. For the 8 weeks of program, including training, staff can earn a range from $3200 to $4400 for the summer, depending on the position and experience. Call 978-318-3614 or e-mail us to see where you might enter.
