Grace Kelly Performs at Fenn

1/29/2010

Seventeen-year-old Kelly, a child prodigy, grew up in Brookline and attends Berklee College of Music in Boston. The youngest person to complete the four year Jazz Studies certificate program at New England Conservatory Prep School, Kelly has been composing since she was 8, and has appeared all over the world. She has arranged pieces for the Boston Pops and played at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Tanglewood. Kelly plays eight instruments and is a talented vocalist. Anne Hampton Calloway, renowned cabaret and recording artist, met Kelly when the young singer-composer was eight years old and declared, “There is no telling how far this child prodigy will go.” Famed trumpeter Wynton Marsalis says Kelly is a “first class jazz musician.” Kelly’s next CD, “Mood Changes,” comes out in March.

Kelly’s appearance was made possible by the Fenn Parents Association.
