Some 15 boys were involved in the designing and execution of the contraption and the creating of a poster to illustrate the process. Six boys accompanied Mr. Cribb and Mr. Sahl to Fay: 8th graders Ryan Alipour, Matt Lynch, and Danny Meyerhoff, and 9th graders Tucker Marchese, Trent Green, and Ben Andre. Though the team didn’t place in the top three, they had a great time not only working on their own contraption but also observing those built by other contestants.
