Music in the Parks Festival

The Fenn Concert and Jazz Bands earned an “excellent” rating from the judges at the annual Music in the Parks Festival held at Holyoke High School on May 8, an event that drew bands from all over New England. The Fenn instrumentalists performed “Canticum,” “Korean Folk Rhapsody,” and “Viva la Vida.” 8th grader Peter Klinkmueller of Acton was named "outstanding soloist" for his trumpet solo, "It's Only a Paper Moon." The bands enjoyed an outing at Six Flags following the festival.
