Since our founding in 1929, Fenn has valued teaching boys with a range of learning styles.

Significant academic and cognitive development occurs across grades four through nine, and we appreciate that boys will learn and access our curriculum in different ways. For that reason, we provide students with ample opportunities to seek support from their teachers during the school day and to benefit from the guiding hand of experienced learning specialists who can be engaged for supplemental tutoring services.

Many boys respond more enthusiastically to Fenn's academic program as our teachers incorporate hands-on and project-based learning into their instruction whenever possible. This learning is coupled with more traditional educational approaches.

Fenn offers the following academic support across divisions:

"Our aim is for every Fenn student to enjoy a positive educational experience. When a student is identified as having a learning issue or needing additional support, we collaborate closely with his teachers and family to develop a plan that supports his individual needs while fostering self-advocacy and independence."
