During this holiday time, we hope you find joy in unexpected places. Whether an intimate family dinner, a virtual visit with old friends, or an evening sharing stories around the fire pit, our relationships with others bring us joy and give meaning to our lives. Recently we witnessed this truth in the outpouring of memories of Mark Biscoe, long-time Fenn faculty member, coach, and administrator, who passed away earlier this month. Relationships matter. For this reason, we invite you to stay connected with Fenn in all the ways you are able during this unusual time. Join Fenn Connect and engage with others in our alumni community. Check our website often and look for the FENN magazine to arrive in your mailbox early in the new calendar year. Plan to attend a virtual gathering – an alumni reception, trivia night in February, or Founder's Night on April 15.
And prioritize a return to campus for Reunion and Homecoming next fall, on Oct. 1-2, when we plan to throw open our doors and – with great joy - welcome you back to campus.

Steve Carell stars as a work-from-home Santa Claus who recognizes how hard 2020 has been and that everyone needs a little something special this year. Fenn Gift Tags - Created by the Students
The Parents Association asked Fenn students to contribute one word to describe the faculty and staff. More than 100 responses and 40 unique words were submitted. The words were used to create a keepsake word cloud gift tag that was attached to gift bags for the faculty and staff before the winter break.
HECTOR J. HUGHES EXTEMPORANEOUS SPEAKING CONTEST
For the 90th year in Fenn's history, courageous Middle and Upper School contestants vied for a spot in the finals of the legendary "Extemp" Speaking Contest. Candidates received their topics moments before their turn in the Zoom spotlight and then delivered their best two minutes of spontaneous material. Read more about the contest and winners here.

ANNUAL FUND - Giving to Fenn is easy!
The Annual Fund makes up eight percent of Fenn's operating budget and directly impacts the daily lives of its boys by supporting competitive faculty and staff salaries, keeping our classroom sizes small, and helping to give our academic and extracurricular programs the margin of excellence that distinguishes Fenn among its peer schools.
This year our Annual Fund effort is even more vital, due to the significant costs associated with opening school safely. Please consider making an Annual Fund gift today.
By Mail: Send a check, payable to The Fenn School. Use the remittance envelope addressed to Fenn that was included with the Annual Fund letter you recently received.
