Justin Graf '22 Selected by the Predators in the NHL Draft

For the third straight year, a Fenn graduate has been selected in the NHL Draft.

On Saturday, June 27 in Buffalo, New York, the Nashville Predators selected Justin Graf '22 in the fourth round with the 118th overall pick in the NHL Draft. The talented left-winger has finished off a very solid season for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL, tallying 23 goals and 55 points in 52 games played.

Graf's hockey background runs in the family. His brother, Collin, helped Quinnipiac win their first national championship in hockey in 2023 and has been playing in the San Jose Sharks organization.

Prior to Graf, Fenn has had four other alumni selected in the NHL Draft, with three others in the previous two years. Ian Moore '17 was selected in the third round by the Anaheim Ducks (No. 67) in 2020. Moore just finished his first full season at the NHL level with the Ducks.

Teddy Stiga '21, like Graf, was selected by the Nashville Predators in the second round (No. 55) in 2024. Last year, Will Belle '21 was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round (No. 137) and Richard Gallant '22 was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the seventh round (No. 210).

After graduating from Fenn, Graf attended The Rivers School in Weston, MA where he was a standout on the ice and made an immediate impact. He is committed to play Division 1 college hockey at Harvard University this fall, joining Gallant on the ice for the Crimson.
