Moore became the first Fenn alumnus to play in the National Hockey League.

Ian completed his four-year collegiate career at Harvard University this spring, finsihing with 9 goals and 47 assists, accounting for 56 points in 122 games from the Crimson. Moore  served as the club’s captain for the second straight season, and helped Harvard reach back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2022 and 2023. Moore was also nominated for the ECAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Moore was the first high school player selected in his draft year.
