Beyond the Classroom at Fenn
Academics are at the heart of all things that we do at Fenn; however, outside of the classroom, boys have the opportunity to explore many different programs. Boys will try their hand at the arts, athletics, public speaking, and they will be supported by friends and teachers alike. Both as individuals and in groups, the experiences boys have beyond the walls of the classroom help to shape them into the young men that they will become.
From building drones and solar iPad chargers in the makerspace to forming student-led Lego and other clubs, Fenn boys are eager to pursue their passions outside of the daily curriculum. Under the guidance of a supportive faculty, they are encouraged to seek out new interests, take initiative, and engage in divergent thinking.
Into the World
There is plenty to learn beyond the Fenn campus. Our long-standing traditions of class trips are one way we satisfy the boys’ thirst for knowledge while encouraging them to build friendships and make memories.
Learning How to be Leaders
Leadership is a way of life at Fenn. The boys are guided by our motto, Sua Sponte, which means “in your hands,” from their first day here. They are encouraged to take initiative, to be engaged, and to become the people they want to be.
