PART-TIME SCHOOL NURSE

The Fenn School seeks candidates for a part-time School Nurse position, to manage health services for the community during the afternoon.

Two or more years of hospital experience is required. Experience in school/community health nursing is preferred. Successful candidates will have expertise in providing primary and emergency care to students, staff, and visitors. All treatment is administered in accordance with Fenn School/Massachusetts Commonwealth Regulations. Relevant teaching, counseling, and guidance are provided to students/parents. The Fenn Nurse works closely with the Athletic Trainer and Administrator of Health Services.

Specific abilities, in addition to those mentioned above, include strong written and verbal communication skills, BLS CPR/AED certification, Type 1 Diabetes clinical experience, and a current Massachusetts Nursing License. Hours for coverage include Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1-4 p.m.
