The Visual Arts and Diversity Offices will host the art exhibit "Building Bridges: Portraits of Immigrants and Refugees" in the Kane Gallery from Monday, October 30 through Monday, November 20. "Building Bridges" is a touring exhibition of photographs and interviews of immigrants and refugees from around the world. It aims to bring awareness to the plight of refugees to prevent insensitivity, discrimination and even hatred. The photo display will also include "Building Bridges at Fenn," a collection of photographs and stories of faculty, staff and parent immigrants. Come to the Kane gallery weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to see the exhibition and engage with others in the thought-provoking questions it elicits. This event is open to the public. For more information, contact Tete Cobblah or Jennifer Everett.
