Fenn’s Diversity Office is excited to announce that our annual Multicultural Educators' Forum will take place at Fenn on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Since February 2010, Fenn has hosted the Forums to provide independent school colleagues throughout New England a daylong opportunity to engage in conversation and reflection about our work fostering school communities that are diverse, inclusive and just. Fenn's last Forum was attended by 200+ educators and school professionals who left the event energized, renewed and eager to continue important conversations with their school colleagues.
Highlights of this year's Multicultural Educators' Forum will include a keynote speech by Sonia Nazario, journalist and Pulitzer Prize winning author of Enrique's Journey, and a panel discussion with Heads of School addressing how, in the charged political and racial climate, independent schools are meeting their responsibility of being inclusive and safe for communities of a broad spectrum of personal and cultural backgrounds and perspectives.

Fenn parents are welcome to attend the keynote speech and Heads of School panel discussion. The remainder of the program is designated for educators. Fenn parents who wish to attend should RSVP to Tete Cobblah or Marilyn Schmalenberger by Tuesday, February 13.
We look forward to a wonderful program!
