Registration is open and filling up quickly for Get it Done: The College Application Program at Fenn. Get it Done is designed to offer students who are applying to college in the fall of 2019 the opportunity to complete their applications under the supervision of expert advice. It runs from August 12-15 with two sessions available: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Over the course of the four-day Get it Done program, students will work on their Common Applications, college essays, and any additional application supplements. As they tackle these important items each day, they will receive one-to-one feedback from the Get it Done faculty.
Get it Done is led by Alison Furey Nowicki, Ph.D., and Rebecca "Bee" Britten Loprete, Ph.D. Alison has been a guidance counselor at Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) since 2004, and has served as the Guidance Department Chair since 2009. Bee has been an English teacher at CCHS since 2000, and chaired the English Department from 2008-2012. Both women work closely with high school seniors throughout the school year; Alison helps students to refine and narrow their college choices, and Bee helps students to craft and edit their college essays and supplements.
Get it Done supports Fenn's long-standing commitment to help young people stay engaged and focused on preparing for their futures. Through Get it Done, Fenn is offering rising high school seniors a chance to achieve the greatest benefit from their last year of high school by getting ahead of the application process before the start of the year.
