Varsity Cross Country delivered a strong performance at the highly competitive Roxbury Latin Jamboree on Wednesday, October 29, finishing 4th overall against as a team. In a field of nearly 150 runners, it was ninth grade co-captain Charlie McGowan who dominated the race once again to earn 1st place for the second year in a row—winning by a substantial margin. Fellow ninth grader Wyatt Reynolds finished 8th overall and eighth grade co-captain Peter Erikson, who finished in 13th place, both turned in impressive efforts to earn medals.
The other members of Fenn’s team of ten runners that competed included ninth graders Nathan Cherboyot and co-captain Ian Oblak, and eighth graders Ben Amarigilo, Nathan Qu, Ben Soliman, Forrest Towel, and William Wu. The team continued their trend of success at this deeply competitive end-of-season meet with another top five finish.
